Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was a legendary Sikh warrior and the first Sikh military leader to wage an offensive war against the Mughal rulers of India. Originally named Madho Das, he became a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh, who conferred upon him the title of Banda Singh Bahadur and sent him to Punjab with the mission to end the cruelty of oppressive rulers and establish justice for the poor and downtrodden.

Keeping in view the educational needs of the society and with the motive of cultivating sense of social responsibility Baba Banda Bahadur college of Education has been set up in the midst of Faridkot city under Baba Banda Bahadur Education Society with E.T.T course in the year 2015. After a year college started B.Ed course in 2016. The college has a magnificent building, spacious lawns, well equipped laboratories and a rich library. Modern systems, techniques and innovations are made available to the students without compromising with the traditional values so as to help students to discover themselves. Youth must be taught how to think rather than what to think. keeping this philosophy in mind we seek to inculcate in our students a quick thinking attitude that is based on critical thinking and analytical skill so as to enable them to be successful in their personal and professional life. The college will give all the opportunities and chances to make students admirable and nation builders with leadership qualities.
